About Wild Life Pet Treats

Hi, my name is Michael and I'm a mushroom farmer.

I began growing mushrooms during the COVID-19 pandemic, first as a hobby, then commercially as I began to take a deeper interest in the medicinal benefits of different strains of mushrooms.

Lucy, an old English sheepdog, arrived in winter 2023.

She had been re-homed several times and needed a consistent place to live, with lots of love and nutritious food.

I began making treats to boost her immune system and improve her gut health, as she arrived with a host of health struggles.

After researching what mushrooms could do, Lucy immediately took to my freeze-dried attempts—they dissolved in her mouth and didn't upset her stomach the way baked treats did. With continued use, I noticed how fast her fur grew back, how her endurance improved, and how her mood stabilized.

This transformation got me thinking about her future. Even though Lucy is only 3.5 years old, the nutritional test results showed that these specific mushroom blends are powerhouses for longevity. I realized I didn't have to wait until she was a "senior" to protect her health.

I’m starting her young to keep her vibrant, but the soft texture and nutrient profile make Wild Life specifically perfect for senior pets who need joint support, cognitive boosts, and easy-to-digest nutrition right now.

Wild Life Pet Treats - Wild Life Pet Treats

After a year of consistent improvement in both health and mood, I decided to scale up production of Wild Life Pet Treats and offered it to other pet owners. When their dogs and cats took to the treats as well, I built this site so Wild Life could benefit dogs and cats nationwide.

Today, Wild Life Pet Treats are proudly produced in Williamsford, Ontario. Thank you for supporting us as we help pets grow old gracefully, and stay young at heart.
